Ocean
A journey in time
The golden glow of clouds
Shimmers at your passing
Never tired or furloughed
A silent trek your circle
Warms the wings of birds
Offers shadow doubles for children’s play
Whispers to the hidden tuber:
"Bud, little seed."
Rising I await
Each dawn faithful
For hope springs true
Sleep well
Bright fire
